2023 Hero Award Recipient
Each year, the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) honors individuals who are dedicated to improving the quality of lives of residents and their surrounding communities.
In 2023, Aegis' very own Dementria Nicole Blue was awarded the Hero Award for her dedication to serving residents in our Family Care Home. Aegis was the first Family Care Home site to receive this award in North Carolina.
